Home News Seattle-based Field Roast looking for innovative community chefs

Seattle’s Field Roast Grain Meat Company is accepting applications for their new recipe contest, “Cooks in the Field.”  They are looking for three people in the community to develop new recipes using Field Roast products.  The three chosen contestants will represent distinctive types of cooks: The Grill Master, The Urban Foodie, and The Healthy Homemaker. You can read contest details here and information can also be found on their blog.

“The “Cooks in the Field” recipe contest was launched in effort to build our Field Roast recipe archive with a little help from the vegan community,” says Field Roast spokesperson Jennifer Hryciw.   “Being a community focused company, we thought it would be fun to offer these cooks an opportunity to develop vegan recipes using our range of vegan grain meat products.”

Chosen original recipes will be featured on the Recipes section of the Field Roast website and on Field Roast social media, and winners will also receive Field Roast products and swag.

“Shared meals bind us together as a community.  Keeping with that theme, we are excited to offer individuals from the community the opportunity to share their original Field Roast recipes,” adds Hryciw.
